Admission is always free at Accelerator. A space for meetings, discussions and dialogue around art and research.

A contemporary art exhibition space run by Stockholm University. Visit Accelerator to experience art, have a fika, or take part in an interdisciplinary conversation where artists, students, researchers and the general public meet to reflect on contemporary issues.

Getting here

Accelerator is located at Frescativägen 26A, on the Stockholm University campus. Take a walk to Accelerator via one of the walking paths shown below or on Google maps.

The nearest tube station is Universitetet, a one-minute walk from Accelerator. You can also get here by bus 50, 639, 670 and 676 (to Universitetet Södra), bus 540 (to Universitetet Norra) or by the Roslagsbanan train service (to Universitetet).

There are parking spaces available near the venue entrance and also a larger parking lot located behind the venue, entrance via Svante Arrhenius väg.

Guided tours and group visits

Please contact us via email at accelerator@su.se before your visit with a larger group so we can plan ahead for your visit.

Guided tours are available both digitally online via Zoom or at Accelerator. For bookings please contact Accelerators hosts via email at accelerator@su.se .

You can also combine your visit with lunch or dinner at Accelerator Café.

Experience Art with Accelerator, a short introduction

Enjoy a 15 min introduction to the exhibition in Swedish, English or another language spoken by a member of the Accelerator host team. Introductions take place in the exhibition space and are free of charge. Please contact us for a list of current languages available and book via accelerator@su.se.

Accessibility

There are parking spaces outside the building. Our entrance is at street level and all levels are lift-accessible. An accessible toilet is located at street level and you can borrow a wheel chair. Folding seats are available outside the exhibitions.

Welcome to Accelerator Café

At Accelerator Café, light meals and coffee are served all day. We offer a wide range of food, sandwiches, salads and pastries. The menu is available on the Instagram account @accelerator_cafe.

Accelerator Café is managed by the team that also runs Gamla Orangeriet at Bergius Botanic Garden.

General visitor information

Lockers are available on the entrance level. There are toilets on every floor.
