Book Launch and Reading
To mark the intended opening date for the second part of Johanna Gustafsson Fürst’s exhibition Graft the Words, Whip My Tongue, and celebrate the release of the book Stridsskrift, we present an online Author Talk.
The opening of the second part of Johanna Gustafsson Fürst’s exhibition coincide with the launch of the book Stridsskrift. Realising at an early stage the importance of providing space to explore the topic of the exhibition in literary texts, Gustafsson Fürst in collaboration with Sara Abdollahi invited the writers and poets Lars Raattamaa, Negar Naseh, Balsam Karam, Ida Börjel and Loretto Villalobos. Stridsskrift may be regarded as a textual extension of the exhibition.
Sara Abdollahi, editor of Stridsskrift, in conversation with some of the book’s writers and poets on how their texts relate to the exhibition. Watch the live stream below or listen to the conversation in Accelerator’s podcast.
